It’s been 21 years since the terrorist attacks on September 11th. The events of that day have left a lasting impact on our nation, our community, and especially those who have lost loved ones.

As we honor the anniversary of 9/11, we remember the sacrifice, bravery, and selfless contributions of thousands of first responders and volunteers who heroically risked their lives to get others to safety on 9/11 and the thousands that worked to rebuild our community in the months that followed.

We join in honoring those who died on 9/11, those who have been lost in the years since, and the many loved ones and family members living with the unforgiving consequences of that day.

We are proud of our reputation as entrusted advocates for the 9/11 community, and the results we’ve achieved for our clients over the past 21 years; including more than $53.8 million in settlements for 82 unionized cleanup workers made ill by exposure to toxic dust near the World Trade Center site.

The personal experiences of each union worker, first responder, volunteer, teacher, student and client we’ve served have impacted us. We are constantly amazed by the 9/11 community’s strength, fortitude, and resilience during one of America’s most difficult times.

Since the VCF re-opened in October 2011, over 46,383 individuals have been awarded more than $10.3 billion in compensation from the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund.

VCF payouts have been awarded to individuals of every U.S. state and 31 foreign countries, including Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Sadly, new studies continue to find first responders and individuals in the 9/11 Exposure Zone face a higher risk than normal of developing multiple types of cancer. (Uterine cancer has now been added as a covered condition by the WTC Health Program/ VCF).

It’s estimated that more than 100,000 responders and recovery workers from every state in the United States and more than 400,000 residents and workers near Ground Zero were exposed to a hazardous mix of cement dust, asbestos, and other toxic materials chemicals after the attack.

With care and compassion, we remain dedicated to helping every victim, surviving spouse, and family member that is eligible for lifetime medical care and compensation understand the claims process and the benefits available to them through the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) and 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund (VCF). We will never forget.

If you have questions about the VCF claim process, eligibility requirements, or deadlines we encourage you to speak with an experienced 9/11 attorney today for a no-risk, free consultation.
